Port Susan Bay · Salish Sea
A private camping club on the quiet shores of Port Susan Bay — where the rhythm of the tides sets the pace and the forest offers sanctuary to all who visit.
Our Story
Nestled along the western shore of Port Susan Bay, our camping club has been a place of refuge for generations. The water here moves with the slow certainty of the tides, and the old-growth cedars stand as witnesses to countless sunrises witnessed from porch swings and canvas tents alike.
We believe the best outings are the ones that slow you down. No crowds, no congestion — just the sound of water against the shore, the call of a loon at dusk, and the kind of darkness at night that lets you see the Milky Way clearly. Whether you arrive in a cabin or with a tent on your roof, this place meets you exactly where you are.
Where You Stay
From full cabins with fireplaces to prime tent sites beside the water, we offer a range of accommodations for every kind of visitor.

The Setting
Port Susan Bay is a hidden jewel of the Salish Sea — a sheltered inlet teeming with wildlife, surrounded by ancient forest, and accessible only by a quiet road that makes the journey part of the experience.
Bald eagles circle overhead, loons call at dusk, and salmon run the bay each fall. The surrounding forest is home to deer, otter, and an abundance of birdlife.
Walk the shoreline at low tide, follow forest paths through hemlock and cedar, or simply sit on the beach and watch the Olympic Mountains rise across the water.
Far from city lights, the nights here are profoundly dark. Campfires, starlight, and the slow rhythm of the bay create an experience that lingers long after you leave.
